The CondorGrip CGUK universal lifting clamp from Carl Stahl
If heavy loads have to be transported, Carl Stahl is rarely far away. The latest highlight: the CondorGrip universal lifting clamp CGUK, which offers maximum safety during the vertical and horizontal transportation of loads up to 3,000 kg with a surface hardness of up to 32 HRC while also having an impressively compact design.
A real all-rounder: The CGUK lifting clamp from Carl Stahl
With an enlarged gripping range of up to 25 mm, the new CGUK lifting clamp from the Carl Stahl Condor own brand range has a maximum working load limit of up to 3,000 kg and can be used for both vertical and horizontal transportation. The double design of the jaws ensures optimum bite on loads. The CGUK’s attractive, forged clamp body offers high wear resistance and torsional rigidity, and therefore a longer service life. The compact design means that the clamp weighs less and is easier to handle during everyday use. All performance data is permanently and captively forged into the FEM optimised clamp body. The clamp body is furthermore powder coated for excellent corrosion resistance. The locking mechanism is surface treated.
New chain leg guide and practical master link
The new funnel-shaped chain leg guide enables far more pull directions than with comparable conventional clamps. No pulleys restrict the pull directions. The CGUK can be fully loaded in all directions up to an angle of 90°! The load can therefore be securely attached even in unfavourable positions. The clamping force is applied via the tension on the chain instead of through the lever and towing axle as was previously standard to enable more flexible and versatile uses. The galvanised spring lever for opening and closing the clamp is additionally equipped with a knob so that it can be easily operated even when wearing gloves.
The new innovative chain guide ensures a larger area of use for the CGUK
A further important difference is the practical, multifunctional master link. Also available in other sizes, this makes it possible to directly hang the clamp on the crane hook, thereby eliminating the need for transitional cables. The clamp comes equipped as standard with a grade 80 master link but higher-grade versions can also be integrated into the clamp on request.
